No deck yet? Start with the AI you already use.

  1. Pick a topic, how many cards and what kind. PASS LOOP writes the request for you.
  2. Paste it into the AI you already use and add your own notes if you like.
  3. Copy the answer back into PASS LOOP. It becomes a deck.

PASS LOOP never calls an AI itself, so there's nothing to pay for. You can also type cards in or import a CSV file.

Is it really free?

Studying, importing and exporting decks, stats, backups, read-aloud and Looplet House are free, and everything free today stays free. The only paid item is PASS LOOP Ultra — Listen Mode, the Ultra Collection and retro icons — a one-time purchase with a 7-day free trial.

Does my progress come with my Anki deck?

Yes. PASS LOOP reads each card's review history and carries on from it, along with suspended cards, flags and deck options.

How big a deck can I import?

Up to 30,000 cards from the decks you pick at a time. Full collection files (.colpkg) work too.

Does it sync with AnkiWeb?

No. PASS LOOP has no server and no account. Move decks with .apkg files, or move everything with a backup file.

iPad or Android?

iPhone only for now, on iOS 17 or later.

Where is my data?

Only on your iPhone. No account, no tracking, no ads.

Is this the official Anki app?

No. PASS LOOP is an independent app, not affiliated with Anki. It reads and writes the Anki deck file format and contains no Anki source code.
